Description:
i was sitting out by the fire and this song started to form, still a little short, but i'm pretty sure i want to finish it and perhaps play it at the open mic wednesday and definitely at my show on the 24th. it's a mellow finger picking piece.

Lyrics:
i fade away
i lose it all love

do you remember
the way love used to be
do you remember me

i'll see your face again
i'll see your face again
i'll find our heaven

do you remember
the way it used to be
do you remember me

i fade away
i lose it all love
i fade away, i fade away

do you remember
the way love s'posed to be
do you remember me
do you remember me

camp song &mdash 08/03/07 - 03:51:34 PM
Yes, sounds like a camp circle song. Very fresh and new and unadorned. Bring up the guitar a little. Nice vibe. Like I told you before, try to bring a little more range and variation to your melody. You sing with passion. You are one with that guitar and your emotion.

thanks rich &mdash 08/04/07 - 07:31:42 AM
thanks for the comment. hopefully i'll get some time before work to work on this one, though at the moment i've started working on another one that i think i'm becoming obsessed with. i've found if i start simple and just let the song gradually evolve and become more complex it works.

Good job &mdash 03/31/08 - 10:57:05 PM
capturing the spontanaity (sp) of this tune. I know what you mean about songs never being done. There's no reason they have to be a specific way ALWAYS. This version is good, but I'd like to hear any variations you have, too.
