Description:
Gates of Time

by MKVX

I sat down last night and started playing. My dry spell ended. I had a lot of fun making this. I started the original chorus plan yesterday. I woke up this morning and make it more complicated, added some more twists, and extended it for a more club-ready feel. Please max your bass out on this one, there are effects that NEED bass. I'm leaving for vacation to Taiwan soon so I don't have much time to work some more on it. I'm not sure what else I would do with it anyhow. Enjoy this tune my friends!

Lately I feel like my songs sound better at 150 BPM +. What do you think?

Pure, proven, powerful
So, you had to go and make it more complicated. Don't you know that we are not complex listeners?

In truth, I love complexity and variation in songs. Nice job here. You have some sweet, dynamic builds and take downs. A Bon Ami floor wipe. Does the job in double time. Pure, proven, powerful. I am moving with this groove.

Sweet...
Must agree on the bass, and I'm a sucker for a good bassline. This is exquisite stuff, and I believe it's at just the right bpm. Love the way the bass, for me, serves as a sturdy platform to launch the myriad interesting pieces. And that synth intro is very infectious. This would keep the floor full at 4am. Well done.

Thanks guys!
Wow thanks for listening to it and giving me your feedback on it. I like it when people let me know what they think. I'm glad you guys like it! I'm really dying to play my music at a club or something. I'm a bit confused at the person/s that has/have been rating my last 2 songs at like 2/10 intentionally, because the low low low rating discourages people to even open the song. I respect truthful ratings, but I doubt this song is that bad. Whoever you are, dumb way to have fun or badmouth my music.
Check out my latest song called Lethal Emotions II (with percussion)
