Description
Picture the gallant Tykes, gathering to eat tripe and jelly, with yards of ale being quaffed by the dozen.
Out steps one pal in his clogs and flat cap. He starts dancing an improvised version of The Yorkshire Clog Dance and, one by one, his drinking pals stand, and in a rapidly forming square circle, they join in one by one, then at the climax (half way through the dance) the pals square off for a bit more quaffing and so the bashing of wood against steel diminishes and talk ensues with the Jukebox being kicked, to start up Meatloaf singing about some Bat from outa Somewhere (in a Yorkshire accent of course).
Just a bit of fun really. The wippets were left at 'ome that night.

The Yorkshire Clog Dance as an Industrial song? Incredible and edible. Just listen to this. I am wiping up the floor with my black slacks, sweat dripping, gathering the crowd around me. We love the resonance and pulse of life. You betcha. A breakout song. Could break out more if a solo instrument or voice started to do hard wafting at about 1:20.
