Description:
Here is another one for the analogapolooza.

Recorded in 1982 at Bob Lamb's Studio in Birmingham, England

No Midi was used on this (I don't think it had been invented yet)

Instruments were

Roland TB 303 and 606
Casio Keyboard (can't remember which model...but a cheap one)
Simmonds electric drum kit (played by Bob Lamb)
Whatever synth Bob had in his studio at the time

Music and Lyrics by David Griffiths
Vocals, TB 303/606 programming, casio - Dave
Guitar, Casio - Bryn

Here is 'The Brickwork Poems' (complete with the tape hiss from the original cassette)

Beautiful voice on this - &mdash 08/05/07 - 07:50:56 PM
and I really like the production. Excellent example of the kind of compositions happening at the time, and better than many. Nice guitar work. Interesting to hear how far back in the mix guitars often were back in those days - what a change. Thanks for posting.

work on this soundwise and vocally terrific and I'm sure it's OK for 'Now' too. Very 'Pet Sop Boys' feel and it's great, M
