Description
A song for my wife. The title means "me too" in Korean. We are newlyweds! One note about the keyboard. This keyboard doesn't seem to have touch sensitivity so the dynamics were added later and may be a little unnatural sounding.

Florida Boy Done Well
Congratulations to you and your lovely bride.

This is a very nice arrangement. I like where the tempo picks up in the middle and energizes the whole thing. Surprisingly, there are Asian influenced sounds throughout the melody.

Very nice job. I hope loves it too.

Thanks fellow Florida boy
Appreciate the comments! Yeah the Asian sounds did kind of come out. I don't know to what extent that was intentional. In the beginning I think I was just trying to make a melody that I thought somehow captured her personality. Towards the end I intentionally used a pentatonic scale in parts of the melody mainly because I thought it fit with the beginning of the piece. Thanks again for listening, Bob.

Thanks Birdman
I appreciate your friendliness to me and everyone here Birdman. I like your style too. I recently changed my picture, but I think I made your acquaintance a couple of weeks ago. I commented on your song "I Remember". Anyway thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to sharing more music and thoughts with you and building friendships with you and the others here at MJ.

Very nice piano playing
Especially like the intro. Even the song structure is well thought-out. Repeating the theme at a different speed works. After reading your description I can see how the performance might sound even more detailed with a weighted key piano, but it sounds quite excellent as it is. The sound of that piano is much better than many. You're a fine piano player - keep those posts coming!

Piano playing
Thanks so much for your comments which are always thoughtful and kind. I like the intro too. The hardest thing for me is development of themes. I felt like this one needed to go somewhere and changing the tempo seemed to help.

I wish I could say that I played this straight through without doctoring it up, but...

Someday I hope to buy a real grand piano, but this one from the orchestral jampack has a nice sound. Back in the states I have a keyboard with weighted keys and we hope to move there sometime in the next year. I can't wait. Thanks again Pari.

fun, strong, playful, beautiful
Those are the feelings that come across in the music, and I have a feeling that was what you were aiming for? Yes, some of the runs would have sounded better with a real weighted keyboard capturing your playing, but it didn't detract much... overall this was a very enjoyable piece to listen to. Thank you for sharing your music, your joy, and your news! Congratulations!

Thanks you so much for your description of this song (or my wife?) It's impossible to capture someone's personality or essence in a little piano piece, but I guess this could be like a musical snapshot of her. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and I am grateful to Him.
Thanks Drak!

A beautiful piece of piano music....
I really enjoyed listening to this piece of music.

Everything about it was both written and played well.

I loved the more 'eastern' phrases. They added some surprise to the piece.

Good luck to you and your wife.

Take care.

Paul.

me too!
Thanks Steve, for your generous comments! I feel like I always say that to everyone, but I really mean it. Thanks for the comment about the picture too. I was kind of surprised she let me put it up for everyone to see. I would have put a picture of both of us together, but trust me it would have detracted from the song to have my face up there :) I really do feel blessed to have her! Thanks again,

A beautiful tune...
...for a very lovely lady. What a nice picture...

Congratulations, sir. On your marriage and I fine tune. I don't have any problem with the dynamics, personally...but you're the player. I'm sure you're happy, overall with the final piece, though.

Wonderful...love this.

Thanks Bob for your kind comments about the piece and my wife. Again I feel so blessed to have her.
I am pretty happy with the piece although there is one place near the climax that I kind of want to change. Thanks again, Bob.

this is so good do you have sheet music?
chipan said 731 days ago (November 8th, 2007)
sheet music
Thanks you for stopping by and listening to this rather old post. I'm glad you liked it. I haven't made sheet music out of this, but maybe if I upgrade to GB4 I will be able to print it out easily. At this point I have a lot of other things I'm working on so sheet music for this piece doesn't look likely. Thanks again!
