Another 90's Pop ditty

Lyrics:
V 1

You walked into and out of his life, with nothing on, nothing to show
What it needed (was) a mountain to climb, off the ground it will never go - what you found

CH 1

Want you to see, I want you to learn how
The way it could be - (if) priceless addictions keep coming down

V 2

I made it easy, but come help me show there's no better place than familiar ground
It's all to easy, it's all "written down" in your eyes - you never can, you never can

CH 2

Want you to see, I want you to learn how
The way it could be - if priceless addictions keep coming down

V 3

Hold the secrets you used to keep, though the pressures falling keep it down
Mistakes are helpful, but you stole the heart, of the wrong one and will never ever know.

CH 3

Want you to see, (I) want you to learn how
The way it could be - if priceless addictions keep coming down on me

BREAK

CH 4

Want you to see, and want you to learn how
Want you to see, and want you to learn how
The way it could be - (if) priceless addictions keep coming down on me

Who .. &mdash 08/10/07 - 07:14:48 AM

.. is Todd? The female singer or the guitarist??

Quality .. I like the acoustic harmonics and the
overall sound: great song, singing all round. My only
nit is the synth fretless bass sound, is a bit synthy/dated .. I think you could digitally re-vamp this .. if you need a guitarist, I'm there my old bud .. I could ask Estellie (if you like) about doing
the female vox .. then we just need a fretless bass
player... and voila! virtual band .. time permitting of
course :o) Oh lyrics .. sound fine but I huvnae a scooby wit yer oan aboot... ;o)

Todd is the vocalist, Dave "Flatch" on guitar.

Re. lyrics, in parts, I don't have a clue what I was on about either !!!

Agreed that the bass synth is dated.

I certainly warm to the idea of revamping some songs (and writing new stuff),so thanks for your comments. I have a few more tunes that I wan't to upload first then I'll see what time I can find to get back into writing/recording/mixing again.

Cheers,

Steck
