Description:
This is a sketch of an idea I had last night. Inspired by my wife again, imagine that.

I just thought I'd post it in case I don't get back to it anytime soon. This week I plan on upgrading to GB4!!

This is my Miami Vice theme song. That's what it sounds like, anyway.

Oh yeah, the photo was taken by a photographer named Kym O'Donnell. This was our first Christmas Card back in 2001 I think?

Never enough juice harp.

I think my mind snapped when I laid that blazing lead down in the middle of the song. I kinda got up out of my chair and wandered a bit, then I came back with the lyrics. I wasn't too sure how the two voices battling each other would sound. It's kinda chaotic and I liked it this morning so I decided to go ahead and post it.

Maybe I won't add any juice harp.

You've so captured the 80s revival here! I love the bounce of the gritty keys, the singing is spot on - dual-layered to boot!

I bought the Jan Hammer 7" at the time. I would sure as hell turn my sleeves up, dig out the espadrilles, ride a croc, buy a yacht and have this playing every morning as my alarm cal!!!

Brilliant - would have more of the same up tempo Eurotrash sound!

My 40's movie queen actually likes this song very much - the vocals anyway. It surprises me, because no one outside of MacJams likes any of my music. What a bunch of weirdos!

while I was at work (no sound on the PC in my office) and knew this was going to be interesting - and listening now it dosen't disappoint. This really exceeds my expectations in every way. Wonderfully weird yet melodic too! A great chaotic piece.

Thanks for posting this in its infancy - I'm not brave enough to do that.

Here's my reasoning behind my bravery. If I spend 3-6 hours writing a song and get just horrible feedback, then I've only wasted 3 - 6 hours, assuming I agree with the feedback. If I spend 6 months working on one song and get the same horrible feedback when I post it, well....

So, on the flip side of that, if I spend 3 - 6 hours writing a song that is considered the best robot love song ever written.....

uh.... where was I going with this?

These sounds just came to me in a spirit walk around my desk last night. I left the vocals to mess with next week, so in a hurry, I laid down 2 vocal tracks and very few words.

This morning I thought this sounded just as good as anything else I've done in a night, so, I posted it. I get a real adrenaline rush when I hear that crazy section in the middle. I really had fun with it and the timing of it. I thought I was going to do a variation of it at the end, but, I might keep it as is.

That was like so many of your posts so fun to listen to. At first I thought the two voices were going to make it too chaotic, but then when the synthy guitar thing came back in it hooked me good. You are one creative, 5 extra armed dude. I can't wait to get back to the states and drive too fast to this! Rock on (I never say that, but it seemed appropriate)

when this first came on, i reached for the volume knob, then felt like a little old lady, backed off, started over, and VOILA!

i love the 2 vocal patterns against each other = Good Idea. this sounds lika buncha crazy kids on caffeine dance music - i like it too. ;) your vocals got much more clear in the mix near the end. this got me moving in my chair but GOOD. i sure enjoyed the dance,
