It's a good start.....
A piece of music such as this can go anywhere, mood-wise. I love the laid back feel and look forward to the more polished and complete version.

My only suggestion would be to slow down some of the piano phrases as they sound to fast/mechanical/robotlike.

Take care.

Paul.

A new
I think I kinda agree with you. I thought it was maybe me. The original track is at half tempo. And I did play the bass keys not the highs. I cant read music... just rhythm, but I know how to make music. And I know how to take advice. Come December you will hear all the new finished tracks. Thanx and keep coming around, friend.

Great........
It really good to know that there will be another rendition of this great tune.

If there's anything that you want to run by me or you think that I can help with in any way, drop me a note.

Your mixes do have lots of potential and I think that your positive attitude about trying to make your music better is really an assett for your future in music. It's wonderful that there is so much diversity in your musical creations. With the work that you put into your music, you deserve lots of success.

Take care.

Paul.

Thanx Paul.

There may be some things that I may want to run by you this year between now and December. I am still finishing up the next CD for this year to be relaesed by that time.

I have some files that I started on and now at a stalemate, because I cant figure out where to go from here. I am always interested in collaborating with others to get a different twist on what I do rather than the same ole Ernest Johnson style. So I will, since you are interested, visit your page and see if I can find some meetings of our heads.

Your remarks are so sincere and I am glad to have a fan who looks even deeper to what I interpret musically or what I speak. I have so many ideas in my head and so much that I want to say musically, that it will be about another five to ten years before I get it all written.

Right now, after twelve years, I am now just scratching the surface to where I want to be. I have decided to listen to you with all ears open and consider you for possible future collaboration.

And I listen to much Steely Dan. Their song 'Time Out of Mind' is on our list this year to remake our rendition. Thanks.
