Trippy .. &mdash 08/12/07 - 04:45:20 AM
.. hopefully no carrots were harmed in the production of
this one ;o). Started with a "lucy in the .." kinda
feel .. very nice .. almost expected a sitarr to pluck it's way across .. built up nicely. The bass gave me
a sense of Joy Division/New Order .. effective. Cool
use of the female vox samples .. and fine drumming throughout.

Very Nice &mdash 08/12/07 - 05:24:38 AM
I like this track. It has a very cool, relaxed feel to it. The little voice on it matches nicely and the different layers of guitars are great. Very psychedelic. The rough guitar and drum madness after half way is far out. Nice one, very trippy. [ Reply to This ]

Great potential &mdash 08/13/07 - 09:37:22 AM
One powerhouse of a jam. Takes off like a bottle rocked making all the way to the moon. You've got all the right elements and the most important ingredient - the energy - is right up there - perfect soundtrack for some xtreme sport footage of guys flying through the air.
The idea of the vocals is brilliant. I would add a soft reverb and have them a little less forward in the mix (also the pitch is a bit off at times) but the contrast of the soft voice with the amplified instruments adds a whole other dimension. The drums sound raw but crisp - just the way I like them. The timing of the different instruments could be a little tighter, but the amplified bass (is it?) and guitar improvisation are excellent and very well recorded. Like all the little "experimental" sounds bits you throw in. Good stuff! [ Reply to This ]

Great &mdash 08/13/07 - 12:24:39 PM
track with some very interesting stuff going on. I especially like the 'jazz' drumming which gives it a very unusual feel. [ Reply to This ]
