Walk on!

Description
I was in holidays with my kids for 14 days, and when we returned, they went to their mummy. And in the evening my appartment was quiet and empty for the first time since two weeks. So I went outside. I wanted to take a walk through my little town. And if you walk for yourself, the thoughts, questions and feelings will come to your mind with every further step. And soon there will be "the other one", your faithful attendance in your head, sometimes affirmative, sometimes asking, sometimes bothering...
In this evening he almost agreed with my thoughts.
The song is about this walk.
Reduced harmony, because my brain orbited one question: "Why did we lost our marriage, where did we lost our love...?"
So it is a sad song, but a song with the request to walk on.

Minimal and outstanding
Well your song really shows your emotions and thoughts, and if you had not written anything in the description, the two main words I would use are 'sad' and 'thoughtful'. Beautiful done, and good track.

A bit of a sombre mood here......
I thought the dynamics of the piece were excellent.

The mood is captured extremely well.

It's good that you enjoyed the time with your children before recording this emotional piece.

Take care.

Paul.

Thank you Paul!
Oh yeah, I really enjoyed the time with my daughters. I am really happy, that there is no hate or fight between me and my (still) wife.
At least in this matter we found a way not to destroy our relationship with our kids. We both try to account our responsibility for them together where ever possible.

Thank you for listening and your comment.

You're right, a little sombre mood... need to write some positive stuff, I think...

Greetinge from Germany,

Bernd

Sad story
aber schöne musik..! I guess it happens quite often, that combination. Hope you will get your answers eventually. Your music is sure to be a part of the road ahead, don't you think?!

Take care!

Thank you!
Thank you for listening and your kind comment.

Yes, that's true... Sadness has his own kind of beauty, in music, in writing, in painting...

Almost every kind of sadness reflects the beauty of the happiness which is to mourn, or the hope of the time to come, or both.
Hard to express for me in english, I hope you will understand it...

Greetings from Lüneburg,

Bernd

Heavy-hearted grace
I can see the glimmers of light and passing shadows to the question above. Lingering pain and hopes that still float.....a beautifully executed and honest piece.

Thank you...
Glad you could see the sparkles of hope...

Someone (I don't know who... was a wise one) said: "There are two great catastrophes for a man:

1. If a great dream fails,

2. If a great dream is fulfilled."

Someone asked: " But that means no chance to be happy at all?"

"No!" he answered, " Happiness comes from the hope between this both things..."

Thank you for listening and leaving a comment!

Greetings,

Bernd

lingering bass-line
The repetitive bass line is perfect... really gives the feeling of an ominous thought that will not go away, but is not complete enough to understand yet...and other sparkles of light as you walk, glimmering attempts at resolving the issues... but they also are not yet ready... it is so frustrating to be in such a transition, unable to see the future, will everything be all right? Nobody knows yet, but there is hope and friendship around you... I too have been down that long dark road. You have captured those abstract feelings quite well here. I wish you strength and offer you continued (long-distance) friendship. I am also waving at you from the end of the road, where a beautiful day awaits... don't give up hope, it is worth staying positive and strong. :-)
ttfn,
Eduard
(oh, and no critiques, very effective instrumentation, pacing, harmonies, really sets the mood in an appropriately minimalistic way!)

Thank you drak...
You and your music sent me a smile in my face...

Thank you very much for your support, very appreciated!

I have made the experience (learned it the hard way...) that it is no problem if oneself falls down... one only has to stand up again...

Thank you for listening nd your comment. The bass line are my footsteps, I really go so fast...

Thank You!
My older daughter learns to play flute, and we often make music together. My younger daughter has just discovered my keyboard and asks for lessons... And they (have to ;-)...) hear my music.

Thanks for listening and your comment. Glad you enjoyed it.

Greetings from a cold Lüneburg in Germany!

Your music...
conveys your description quite well. Stark, somewhat painful yet the fact that you keep moving suggests hope.
Take Care,
