Description:
This song was inspired by my experiences of Glastonbury and Stonehenge - the latter I just bonded with-whereas the former I felt disconnected with because of the commercialism and the non spiritual atmosphere surrounding Glastonbury. If anyone has been to Burton On Trent in the Midlands they know that there's a pub on every corner- similiarly with Glastonbury except instead of pubs- its new age shops - pure overkill. Disconcerting. So this is about fads, everything temporal- looking for a quick fix, sensuality, looking for sages and words of 'wisdom' to put on coffee cups to market- anything that gives soulless gratification but is sold as Spirituality and something deep..
