"Sooner or latter it all gets real...Walk On"
What you mean I do that all the time just let the groove take ya just roll with it! its great ! excellent composition!
timothy devine
Exactly.
Its a fun relaxing way to play and good stuff comes out.
Its great that we can do that with GB and then take what works and develop it or just let it be.
This one i let it be, and dig the sound of it.
thanks for your comment

What a happ, funy little tune! And your loops don't even sound like loops to me, which is a compliment. :-) I'm going to check out the rest of your and your brother's music!!
timothy devine
Thanks for coming over to listen to my music.
I love what you are doing on your page. When I have some time I will be back over to listen more I'm sure.
I'm so happy that people are digging this tune. I had lots of fun making it.

"Sooner or latter it all gets real...Walk On"
Great flow on this and some of the riffs that emerge are killer: alternately sweet and then somewhat tentative. All in all, a very gentle listen that, like most of your stuff, implies a lurking 'edge' (neat trick, that: how do you do it, anyway?) Intelligent music.
timothy devine
Your words are inspiring.
I don't know how I do it, it just comes out of me.
Thanks so much for your comment.
Its the communication in Mjs that makes this so much fun to participate.

There's real therapy in playing along to this - reminds me of many jams in my youth (although we rarely had the benefit of a keyboard player - and noone ever clapped!). Very atmospheric and very relaxing - some lovely licks.

Its cool to think you are playing along with this as you listen. If I can return you to your youth for even a moment, that is very cool.
I love when something brings me back to the old days…I am a fan of nostalgia.

"Sooner or latter it all gets real...Walk On"
Kind of Grateful Dead-ish in spirit and flow. Lovely...cosmic...pleasantly psychedelic. Nice work on those keys. Very tasty guitar licks. A real treat for these tired old ears my brother!
Be well!
timothy devine
Funny you should mention the dead.
I spent a lot of my youth with the dead…including Watkins Glen and many more shows.
Then the other thing is, after learning the guitar as a young boy I had put it down for a few years and then picked it back up in my teens, and played along with the dead in my dorm room, a lot. …I can only imagine how obnoxious it must have been to the people around me. Now I don’t listen to much unless I need a flashback, although I do really enjoy Jerrys acoustic solo stuff very much and the dead also has some motivating qualities and great tunes… Warf rat amonst many more…
Long comment I know…

...Well, maybe, after awhile, but this had a fresh, relaxing feeling that was just really nice to listen to. Sounds like fun - especially the appreciative audience at the end!

Listening on an overcast, Sunday morning and the music seemed right.
Good job on the relaxed, and relaxing groove.

Thanks for coming over to listen.
I enjoyed creating this tune.
Its one of the first things i did when i got GB.
It was a learning thing. I like when it shuffles up.

I did check out Temo. I must have been too busy to comment, or messed up the buttons. I was a fan of the original Temo posting also. Temo is a special song!

I got with you on this track.
I kinda like the hanging guitar in there. the licks just seam to slip out real natural.
Nice licks.
The piano reminds me of Lyel Mayes (sp).
Pat metheny
comes to mind...

Like a morning sun shower in the country, adding a freshness to everything.
This reminded me of some of the early ECM records material when they first came out. Nice mood pieces where one could stretch out for a long journey in improvisation really feeling part of the vibrations of the universe.
This shows a different side of you and is quite enjoyable.
timothy devine
What a great comment.
I am a huge fan of the ECM era of which you speak.
What exploration.
Inspirational.
I'm going there now!

I'm slowly getting back at listening to songs here. Have some catching up to do...
This one has your relaxed feel all over it. I love the easy mood you serve us with your guitar.
The wind or rain samples fits perfect to the song.
I also think the drum pattern serves the rest of the instrumentation with its light percussion. The rolling piano notes has the same easy floating feel, and goes well together with the rest.
Thanks for your visits to my songs. I have noticed them and appreciate it greatly:)
timothy devine
Its been slow round here and I am guilty of laying low myself also...
but its great to here from you.
You have given me much support
thank you

With a slight trippy punch. I like trippy punch. Some cool guitar playin !Oh by the way your pencil art is very interesting thanks for sharing!!
timothy devine
You the first person(as far as I can remember) to comment on the pencil art.
Thanks for that.
You comment is very appreciated.
Each time I get a comment that refers to the sound, especially trippy I have to give it another listen.
I like trippy too.
Flash backs welcome here.

Doug Somers
is a wonderful match to the music - colour, joy, movement, contrasted 'spiky and smooth' bits, with an overall sense of celebration and fun. Thanks so much for sharing,
Keep well,
