You got this countrified futuristic hip hop thing going on.... There's a band i know that kinda does stuff like this. Big country guitars, twinkling ufo parts... Brothers, if I remember correctly.
Jim, I'm glad you finally shared this with the good folks at MJs. I think you have a real vocal style developing. Driving, wordy and it has a real philosophical twist to it. Your Hillbilly Satellite has a similar twist.

I'm not the best Macjammer by any manner of means, however I do have a lot of fun putting stuff together and being influenced and encouraged by others, (like your good self) is to me, what it's all about.
If I have a style developing, then it is purely by accident.
Len says quirky. I like quirky. It's even a nice word to type.
Maybe even a new genre....

reminds me so much about my father. he ADORED sci-fi books. he was able to come from work pick up a book and read it through all night till morning, till he finished it :) i like very much the changes in keys, which make the listener attentive till the end of the song, knowing, something new will be happening every few bars. ADORE the space sounds, they are brilliant! i like the rhythm and the never ending "rush" in the song, which is expressing exactly how i think we will be living in the future. great lyrics and i like your singing-talking-rapping. a great song! :) [ Reply to This ]

I think I'm heavily influenced by the 5 Extra Arms school of his royal Bobness and his robotic futureworld sounds.
It's all coming together. I suppose we are living in the future right now. The world's a much different place than it was 10 years ago.
