Description:
The formal nomenclature"El Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Fami´lia"
The expression of English is is Works of Antoni Gaudi´.

The architect is Antoni Gaudi´i Cornet.
He was born in 1852 in Spain and the Catalunya area.

Gaudi learnt construction from 1873 to 1877 in Barcelona.
Gel mansion.
Gel park.
Casa Mira etc.
A lot of works constructed in Barcelona are registered in World Heritage.

The feature of his construction is organic beauty.
I feel the life in the detail.
Apartment house like tree.
The outside wall like lava.
They are excellent in originality.
They are exactly a property of the town.

Antoni Gaudi.
Such a man is not around there.

Gaudi spent later years as an ardent Catholic.
After 1914, all energy was poured into the construction of Sagrada Familia.
Gaudi was run over while facing the Mass by the tram on June 7, 1926.
Age at death 73. Construction is being incompletely continued as for Sagrada Familia now.
It is said that the schedule of completion is about 2026.

Four heavenward towers.
They soars to the sky as the prayer reaches.

It is his continuation of the dream.

Wonderful. Several licks remind me of what you did on our Dare To Sing collab. Such an ability to glide thru shifting thoughts.

That's an interesting story; I did not know about Gaudi or Sagrada Familia. This is very moving, very big art. Excellent work, Tadashi.

Lovely Track &mdash 08/17/07 - 04:05:12 PM
The spare combination of guitar and incidental instruments and percussion is well executed. At points you nearly stop, creating a very melancholy mood.

Thanks

Memories &mdash 08/17/07 - 07:20:08 PM
I've visited the Sagrada Familia twice - once in 1976 and again in 2002. It is more than a building, as are all of Antoni Gaudi's works - it has the feeling of being alive - more than any other building I've seen.
Your tune brings back memories of the last visit with our daughter and (soon to be at the time) son-in-law to Barcelona in 2002 - lovely, delicate playing and tasteful production. A real homage to one of the world's most unique buildings.

Cathedral &mdash 08/18/07 - 10:02:22 AM
may be incomplete, your song is not! Great work as always!

I wish too to go to Barcelona and visit this and other of Gaudi's work. On an ("Inter-Rail") journey in my youth I saw or visited 30 plus cathedrals in 30 days, almost all of them in the British Isles, though. Have never been to Spain yet :-( Hm, nice to have something to look forward to! :-)

Thanks for a great listen!

Spain has not visited me yet.
The smell of the earth seems to drift.
Thank you very much.

Organic architecture, organic music... &mdash 08/18/07 - 10:59:52 AM
This is brave in being slow, thoughtful, heartfelt...It has a 'roundness' that Gaudi might have appreciated... Lovely tone...

The listening mind has to slow and clear to really hear this...I wouldn't be surprised if one's heartbeat slows as well... You can't listen to it with a busy, hectic mind...It takes one in the direction of meditation and devotion...

I think this may be one of my favorites among your many excellent compositions, Tadashi.

Yes. This is a very slow tune.
It looks like at an architectural speed of the church.
The time of the eternity flows.
Thank you very much.

Thank you Tadashi for a very moving experience. Your use of rhythm and texture in the background sound canvas fills the listener up with feelings of sadness and hope. Your guitar paints a picture that is beautiful and haunting in the same breath.
I applaud you for your creative genius. Bravo Maestro !

This is an interesting and beautiful track. It would work well as a movie soundtrack. Your guitar is reflective and bluesy. Very enjoyable.
