I really like this. Very dynamic and well put together! Russian women have sexy voices. Nice job all around.

Rather fine &mdash 01/18/08 - 11:26:30 AM
Really liked the approach; just not enough of this stuff around.

That said, I'm a picky sod (someone has to be now Ik's gone)

First, you should be aware that this is playing back at a very low volume.

I kept on wanting it to burst into song; I think you might have a hit on your hands if you found a silly, simple chorus.

The vocal should be mixed higher.

The lady telling the story does not yet have a full grasp of the dramatic gesture in the English language (I suspect she's got it in Russian just fine), and as a result, I found myself going 'Huh?' a couple of times

If you're going to insist on such a long intro, then it needs (way) more melodic interest - somethiing you don't break out 'til the very end

A very good basis for developing something that could be quite wonderful.

Cheers, Shaky

Picky's fine with me &mdash 01/30/08 - 10:18:04 PM
Everything you've suggested is right on. This one was more of an experiment for me in that I had this idea and quickly rushed to get it out. I'll definitely be reworking it at some point as it does have some charm.
I appreciate your comments. Feel free to make suggestions for my other stuff too. You've said some very helpful things!
