Description:
Let the rains of love come falling down, falling down
Let the rains of love cover all the ground, all the ground
Let it wash your eyes so that you can see, you can see
How the power of love, the power of love can set you free

Use the rains of love to wash your hands, wash your hands
Then reach out to help your fellow man, fellow man
Let the rains of love cleanse your mind, cleanse your mind
Leave your fears, all your fears and and your hatred far behind

Let the rains of love flow to your heart, into your heart
So that deep inside the loving starts, loving starts
Let the rains of love wash into your soul, into your soul
Let it wash you clean, wash you clean and make you whole

Let the rains of love come falling down, falling down
Let the rains of love cover all the ground, all the ground
Let the rains of love come falling down, falling down

Nice job &mdash 08/18/07 - 11:05:41 PM
Mixing it up with the drums.
I dig the sound, and was trying to sing along.
Do you have a spacific melody or am I free to roam...
I really dig the lyric.

try alannah, she is good at this stuff...
I could dig working with her on this...
if I can find some time to groove...
peace

about the melody &mdash 08/18/07 - 11:19:55 PM
I hear the lyric working almost along with the guitar but if you want to experiment with it, go ahead. Alannah has experimented with one of my tracks that she calls "lace panties" with some incredible results. I may contact her about this one. She is a creative talent.

Take me with you on one of these jaunts to exotic places. That's what I want to collaborate with YOU on.

As always, it is good to see your "painted face" on the favorites list for this song.

I love the &mdash 08/19/07 - 05:25:11 AM
sounds you've created on this one... so intricate and interesting. I can hear a choir singing on this one, with very precise vocals; as you say, following the guitar lead. Maybe a build up of voices from one, building up to a full choir, M

You're on the same track as I am &mdash 08/19/07 - 08:47:55 AM
the way you describe the vocals on this song is one of the ways that I can hear them in my head. An interplay of a group of voices or multi-tracking of one voice so that it interleaves and overlaps with itself. I'm anxious to see if anyone picks up the ball to collaborate with me on this.

Sounds great to me..... &mdash 08/19/07 - 08:16:33 AM
This reminded me of a Tears for Fears song, or mixture of songs.

They are one of my all time favourite groups so I'm complimenting you. Your work in this mix is impressive.

I hear a rock choir on this.

Take care.

Paul.

Maybe we'll do a collaboration with a group of MacJammers!

Nice groove, great guitars and some lovely drum breaks. Agree with the TFF comments - this is a great, big rock song - Alannah would sound ace on this!

The lagging commenter strikes! &mdash 08/24/07 - 08:05:57 PM
I'm glad I caught this one! This is good. It has all the right flavors and is an exceptional bed with loads of potential! I wish I knew how this lyrics ran. I think I have a pretty good idea? I can hear some killer leads for it. Nice job all around. Kudos!

Alvin it is NEVER too late to comment &mdash 08/24/07 - 10:54:00 PM
thanks for the comment...all of them are appreciated no matter when they come.

I am not sure how the lyrics will run when someone gets done with them. I'm still waiting for a collaborator to come along and add their talents to it. I hear the lyrics almost running with the lead guitar part with a pickup on the last beat of the measure (with the words "let the") before the guitar comes in so that the word "rains" falls on the first beat. No chorus just a bridge between each verse.

If you don't mind &mdash 08/24/07 - 11:08:30 PM
I would to play with the vocals a bit this weekend and see if I can establish a line for you, going on what you previously stated. I'll collaborate with you if you want? It would be my first on MJ's. Anyhow, send me a note and let me know what you think. Have a good one bro.

life &mdash 08/27/07 - 08:31:58 PM
for me it's like driving past miles and miles of open fields, stands of trees, marshes, everything you can think of that is alive and growing...

with the windows open, so you can smell each of these ecosystems' scents.

it's a steady, patient, pattern of life itself.

thanks
