Description:
Traditional Pop with Jazzy elements and a sliver of Python !!

Lyrics:
INTRO c/o Graham Chapman @ Monty Python:-

"This man is about to die. This man is about to die. In a few moments now he will be killed. For Arthur Jarret is a convicted criminal who has been allowed to choose the manner of his own execution."

V 1

You don't to know everything, you don't have to understand.
Everytime you ask me the answers still the same, you don't have to understand.

CH 1

It's the life I've come to live and I wouldn't change for anything - don't you forget it now.
Life I've come to live, the only one I wanna sing.

V 2

You only have to say a few words (but) they'll still understand,
Language may be different but the words remain the same - the answers right in your hand.

CH 2

It's the life I've come to live and I wouldn't change for anything - don't you forget it now.
Life I've come to live, the only one I wanna sing.

BREAK

CH 3

It's the life I've come to live and I wouldn't change for anything - don't you forget it now.
Moving to another town the barriers go up and down, but I can see there's a smile on your face.

Moving out of this town, moving out of that town...........

Glad you posted this one bud :o) &mdash 08/19/07 - 07:03:40 AM

.. it was one of my favourites "Catch" did.. and I thought my guitar playing was a bit more integrated into the 'sound' by this time and a better mix, more the crunchy sound I like on the distorted bits coming across. I think everyone's individual performances really shine: all vox, drums particularly fab, keys, sax, bass.... very tight.

An' I always thought it was great use of the Monty Python sample and enjoyed the jazzy elements of the instrumental break.... lovely walking bass line and
great production from Mr.K.

I stubmled across a few more tapes last night including one with many of the BBC sessions. Tape quality is good and Dolby [B} means that there is hardly any hiss. A wee bit of EQ and bingo converted to MP3. Which one with be the third choice though for the analog comp???

hmm .. &mdash 08/19/07 - 07:57:39 AM
still a fair bit of hiss dude .. and quite trebly/sissly to me .. and some clipping at the start. I'd go for "walking free" or "what's on your mind" or "keep it alive" or "You'll never know" .. my personal favourite of those is "walking free" .. but I was never keen on the rather blatent key change myself.

Heck, post 'em all... and just submit one of your choosing as your last "analogapalooza" upload.

Sissly &mdash 08/19/07 - 03:27:00 PM
Are you taking the hiss?

Sissly maybe and I have already turned down my *siss-ometer* on subsequent uploads.

Cheers,

Graham

like how it kicks into the start of the chorus. nice vocals. there's a little guitar fill bit i liked that kicks into an awsome bass line. this sounds like its got some nice playing on it.
