Keywords:
willow (2)last (16)time (78)tale (2)
Description:
-there's a small lake near the house where i grew up and at that lake there is a willow tree that i used to fish under. i got my first kiss there and many other firsts in my life happened there. In the coarse of my day to day I have occasion to drive by it and sometimes it causes me to reflect on where my path has been. This song is one of those reflections.

Lyrics:
.Willow would you tell for me a tale
Willow would you tell for me a tale

I've been wonderin
what that tale would be

Willow would you sing for me a ryhme
Willow would you sing for me a ryhme

I've been wonderin
what that ryhme would be

This could be the last time I hang my head in shame
This could be the last time I close my eyes to your pain

willow would you build for m a home
willow would you build for me a home

I've been wandering for so long
I've been wandering for too long

Willow would you say a prayer for us
Willow would you say a prayer for us

We are fading
To the dust

This could be the last time
I hang my head in shame

This could be the last time
I close my eyes to your pain

This could be the last time
This could be the last time

the simple percussion!
and that guitar is so clean. very tasty.
i think your vocals are very nice, but a touch too low in the mix.
i love the song though!
very mellow and flowing! great tune!

Well done.... &mdash 08/21/07 - 04:21:16 PM
tune.Like all the different elements you're using here but the vocals need to be brought out a tad more in the mix as all ready stated by Faelin.Very much enjoyed the tune.

Blessings,

Great tune... &mdash 08/21/07 - 05:44:17 PM
I really like the arrangement. The mix does need some work especially the vocal levels which do change as the song gets going. Otherwise it's a instant fave.

I'm afraid the masters are gone though, so it is what it is.

That's a shame - We'll just have to make do.

really wonderful writing... this is my favorite vibe... I love the mystery, and the way this song frames the idea that we are dust, and life is but a breath... excellent... great writers say it without ever saying it... and the most effective stuff circumvents the head, and heads straight for the heart
