Thanks Feter,... &mdash 08/22/07 - 04:22:01 AM
Yes I noticed the drum is a little high, it is a very small coconut drum from hawaii, I don't think it is tuneable. But thanks again, I am very glad you like it!!! And thanks for the encouragement!!!

Hey Ian.... &mdash 08/23/07 - 03:10:01 PM
...this is gorgeous but in serious need of a remix. Too much hiss and drum much too loud. Playing sublime as per usual. Nice choice of material. They don't write em like that any more!

Be well!

This is a real favorite of mine!!! I don't why there is so much hiss on this one, there usually isn't that much, I noticed it too. The drum is loud, I thought maybe the drum is loud too, but then I thought, the oud which is the instrument this is usually played on is softer than the guitar, and playing live this is the balance there often is as the drum is loud. But then again that is in party when people get carried away, the drum can have a soft touch, and this was played as if a concert in a moorish castle, atleast that is what I was trying for!!!
