Description
This is my 3rd and last entry for Analogapalooza - recorded in my apartment on NY's Lower East Side in 1984, on a Tascam cassette 4 track machine. Every Sunday for a long while Kevlar of JOAN and MUDMEN and I would get together and write and record a song in one session.
This Sunday we invited Richard McGuire - the bassist from Liquid Liquid to join us.
Historical note: Richard's bass line from his song Cavern went on to be used as the sample behind White Lines by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - then later by Duran Duran.
Richard is playing bass and spindle back chair percussion - Kevlar is playing guitar and singing lead - and I sang back-up, programmed the TR808 and played the synth (Sequential Circuits Pro-One). Somebody played clave too - but I don't remember who.
Sue was the name of one of my cats who sat in on our sessions.

Wha?

kind a like sitting on a Talking Heads show. Seems most of the new wave around '84 had a solid beat going. And no exception here,
By chance anyone with a Flock of Seagulls hairdo?
Nice entry Bud, cool that you kept track of this old stuff.
