this way, the picture of what happens next is in the listeners mind because of his or her interpretation of the song. It's his or her thoughts that complete the picture, not mine. And there are all kinds of pictures, one for every different person who listens.

Been there done that, at least the band thing, not the record. I'm, how shall I say this delicately. "A BIT LONG IN THE TOOTH" to be going out on the road with a band at this stage." But maybe I'll get lucky" and someone will pick up one of my songs and make a big hit record out of it. I could stand a little bit of that action.
