every single lyrics i read from you ed, are a gem. very well written and painting the situation so well. this is another great song. i wander how you write the words? do you just sit with a pen and IT comes? because when i sit with pen, nothing comes, except a hunger after a few hours and frustration :) again great song ed!

Actually Paja it's hard to describe how it works. Sometimes it really does come to me mostly line after line, but that's rare. Even when it comes like that, it still needs to be polished and fine tuned.
Usually I'll start out with a word or phrase that comes into my mind and then build on that, one thought at a time. Sometimes it will take a long time of working with the lines to get it polished to the point I feel I really have a song.
And if the end result pleases someone other than me, it makes me extremely happy.

Anyway thank you so much for you kind words. I'm eally happy that you like my work.

That is quite a comparison there Michael. But I'll take it for sure. It's a pretty big pair of shoes to fill though but I'm willing to try.

I rather think it's gonna be a real stretch for me to fill those shoe. They were two of the best there ever were but like I said I'm willing to try

I'm glad you stopped by for a listen, and even happier that you enjoyed this piece. I've been uploading some material that I recorded when I had my little home studio in the early to mid 90's. All analog at that time, but I've converted over to the Mac platform now and I'm having a blast working and reworking some of my old tunes.

I was hoping you'd like this one too. I'm not sure why, but I seem to write a lot of these kind of songs. I guess you write about what you know, but my life has not been like my songs. At least not to this degree.

You're right you know, C/W can tend to go to the dark side of love more than the bright side. Oh well, it is what it is.
