Sooo close. &mdash 09/01/07 - 11:35:29 AM
Yes, this is a more relaxing psychedelic trip hop mix, I tried to mix alot of sounds without it getting too jumbled and white noise. Bristol getting closer to me. I hope you are having a good time also hope the barbie went well and all the food was cooked properly. [ Reply to This ]
Haunting and strange &mdash 09/02/07 - 11:09:01 AM
Lisa's vocals sound fabulous just emerging from the dark lake of synths. A very atmospheric and creative remix. Very intense and spacey towards the end. Great stuff! [ Reply to This ]
Honoured &mdash 09/02/07 - 02:21:10 PM
Wow, Rebsie. Thank you for listening and commenting its great to hear favourable comments from macjammers I don't normally hear from. It looks like you had fun at the MJ Convention UK, I hope there are many more so that I can hopefully attend one some day. [ Reply to This ]

I'm sure you'd be very welcome ... we try to have some kind of get-together every year. Have a word some time with Caroline, who organises them.
PS are you really a diviner? [ Reply to This ]
Why Diviner? &mdash 09/05/07 - 04:10:06 PM
I can Divine for water and have tried to divine the future with tarot cards. Also I like to divine spiritually and thats why I chose the name. [ Reply to This ]

I do a bit of dowsing from time to time. And Tarot for that matter. I kind of grew up with it.
Had an embarrassing incident earlier this year when I was walking along a footpath using a spring rod and some people suddenly came round the corner with a large bouncy dog. The dog grabbed the end of my dowsing rod and tried to run off with it. We ended up having a very long drawn out tug-of-war. (I won.) [ Reply to This ]
Very spooky. &mdash 09/02/07 - 03:01:46 PM
I really love the way the vocal comes in on this one, the floaty synth is going, then there's that sound, like someone has turned something on, then the voice pops up.
The way this flows is absolutely hypnotic and I seriously dig your bassline. It makes me picture an old empty house, with nothing in it but a record player and this is on it, going around and around and around and around forever and ever. Very haunting.
What's funny about this is that even though you've included samples from Matt's music in there, his mixes are so dense, I don't have much of a clue which music comes from him and which comes from you. I know he's big on beeps and chirps, so I'm guessing some of those are his, but, aside from the violin, I'm not sure what else (and I couldn't readliy identify which beeps and chirps) came from the original song.
I really enjoyed this one; it's very different to the original, but equally as good and I'll be listening to it for a long time to come.
Thank you again, Keith! [ Reply to This ]
Thank goodness &mdash 09/02/07 - 04:04:24 PM
I am so relieved that you like it. When I finished even though I was happy with the track I was not sure if would be pleased with it.
The first line of your song 'an empty book' exactly matched a sitar sample I had, so that went in and the all the bleeps and chirps are Matt's. What happened is that I nearly finished the remix and I thought it needed something, and I remembered the bleeps and chirps and I thought perfect.
Thank you for letting me do the remix, Lisa, its been great. [ Reply to This ]
Nice done &mdash 09/02/07 - 05:07:23 PM
Love it ... Deep and spacey tune..... One of the best mix of "Saturnine"
Take care

Chilled But Disturbed! &mdash 09/04/07 - 04:24:19 PM
You said it buddy boy!
This reminds me of the time Lisa was stuck in the transporter beam with a sitar player and an AM Radio. What a cool sound you have developed.
I really love what this does to my blood pressure.
You've consistently produced great work. [ Reply to This ]
Thank you Bob &mdash 09/05/07 - 03:22:28 AM
I am very pleased that you have commented and like the track. I do try to be consistant, different and enjoyable. I think that I was nervous submitting these remixes because of the talent there is on this site (you included, of coarse). I'm just happy that the tracks I submit are well received. Thank you once again for listening and commenting.
P.S. What do you think of the other remix (honestly)? As there are fewer comments, its obviously not as well received as this remix. To tell you the truth, I thought that might happen. [ Reply to This ]
i was expecting anything, except &mdash 09/09/07 - 04:03:38 PM
Damn fine track, brother, I love the sitar in it. Nice oldskool synth tweaking. Acid lines and sh-101 sounding bubbles. Been far too busy lately, and well, what I pm'ed you.D/l'ed it and to the next one, is it gonna be as good? I hope so. [ Reply to This ]
Wow, very positive &mdash 09/13/07 - 04:37:55 PM
You comment on this track has been the most positive and I also hope that the next track will be as good (if not better). Thanks for all your comments, may there be many more. I am happy with this track as it has alot of elements that I like myself and I had fun doing. Thanks once again. [ Reply to This ]
Well done &mdash 09/12/07 - 07:38:18 PM
a lot going on in this remix. I think it changes the mood and almost changes the meaning of the lyrics. I think it has a very galactic feel to it with the eerieness that the vacume of space can provide. [ Reply to This ]
Thanks alot for your comment &mdash 09/13/07 - 04:43:21 PM
it means alot to hear such encouraging comments. I hope to finish your remix soon, which is just a fun. I have found a crackin' beat. I wanted to make sure the remix was differnt and it does have Saturn in the title, so it had to be spacey. Cheers once again. [ Reply to This ]
