Though Ultraleft's discretion is legendary, they accepted to remix Harlequin, the Hamlet machines new single. They turned it into a dirty and distorted hardcore disco track.

Much more heavy this version &mdash 09/01/07 - 06:57:39 AM
More like the Prodigy meets Kraftwerk. Or maybe Air on a metal day.

Different to the original and the 5EA version, but just as enjoyable for a change of pace.

I think I prefer your upfront vox on the others tho'...

Air Metal &mdash 09/01/07 - 07:04:23 AM
This is for sweaty dark dancefloors in industrial wastelands. I'm not sure it should even have vocals !

This is so dark and mighty. Those beats are the only thing saving this song from descending back into the firey pits of hell from where it came. As a fan of ultraleft I can hear their sound consuming the essence of Hamlet Machines and becoming it's own monster.

I was expecting it to be about 10 minutes longer, but I think it's good at 5 minutes. Humanity thanks you for keeping it "short".

Hope to hear more from ultraleft here at MacJams.

ultraleft &mdash 09/04/07 - 10:46:19 AM
for somes reasons, with have little to do with humanity, only do 5 minutes songs.

They also think, apparently, that everything beyond 1 khz is a commercial compromission and submission to the diktats of mass consumerism

I don't know if they're punk, but they're certainly daf sometimes.
