Description:
"Waiting music from Purgatory"

Here's one of the latest imps on my hard drive. It's designed to be background music, so the movements and melodies aren't exactly going to grab you by the throat, if you know what I mean.

That said, let'r rip.

This is quite a different approach. You mix up the melodic exercises with the percussion well making good music that is not too directly repeating. (not sure if that sentence is too musical LOL)

Thanks
Bill

This is the Interweb, Mr. Piano! Grammar matters not to us in this wonderous realm of virtual strategery.

I'm glad this wasn't too repeating. It surprised me to see that five people have downloaded it already. That ain't what I was expecting at all.

Cheers,

Very cool - I like this a lot &mdash 09/05/07 - 07:10:48 PM
is this your waiting room music before your trip? LA can seem like purgatory - not a lot of there there. Very moogy - very nice - sequencers are our friends.

Yeah, I guess this does have a "city" feel to it. Never though about it that way. Perhaps it is about the move to L.A. You sure your real name is Sigmund, Bud?

Intriguing opening tones. Love when the percussion kicks in. Had me boppin my head and tapping my feet instantly! Nice breaks...This is extremely well arranged and played Greg. KUDOS!

Be well!

Glad the hook worked. It strikes me like Wendy Carlos Williams' "A Clockwork Orange" synth work--if I can make such a comparison.

dont know about that. I do know that this has alot going on . electronica experimental, I like when it gets all stutery. Then comes back together. the slower middle reminds me of some philip glass with drums, dont know why. Welp Im gonna have to be another one to down load this thanks

The artwork is an old drawing or print of purgatory (Fegefeuer, in German). Thanks for taking the time to ply through all these lengthy tracks, particularly this one, 'Waiting Music from Purgatory'.
