I am really loving alegrias, it has so many possibilities, with the different parts: escobilla, silencio, bulerias, so forth,... I need to learn more about it, there are other areas to go with chords, this is just the beginning of something that is going to grow longer and longer. Both those sections can be extended, I do believe, by two measures each of 12 counts, to be proper silencios. The silencio is traditionally minor key, but I have made one minor, one major. I plan to add an escobilla next, which will be in a major key.

You play very well! &mdash 09/07/07 - 09:22:37 AM
But I guess I already made such a statement in my last comment? Well... you very much deserve it Ean. I have always enjoyed classical and even play a little on my classical ;-P Albeit, not like you do. I just fake it! This is a nice piece and I enjoyed it immensely! Keep on keepin on my friend,

Thanks Alvin,... &mdash 09/07/07 - 09:56:20 AM
I really appreciate the nice words!!! I have always loved nylon strings. I had a guitar lesson on a nylon string guitar, around age five, from a friend of the family that played folk. I later bought a steel string, but ended up trading it for a classical. This guitar is a flamenco guitar, but the string are nylon at the bottom, wound nylon at the top, just like with a classical.

Yes more open!!! The timing seems to flow better with this version I feel, but only at the loss of a certain warmth in the first take, it really becomes a matter of preference!!!
