This is a beautiful, timeless, magical piece of music.

Enchanting.

Another gem from your musical jewel box.

I am struck again... &mdash 09/09/07 - 06:56:38 PM
...by how precisely you play, without sounding at any time stilted or mechanical...The notes cascade out, each in its proper place, and become a perfectly rounded tune...

I get the 'etude' quality here, but think this one could be an etude that becomes a 'standard'. Kids (and students of all ages) should be trotting this one out at recitals for ages to come...

And of course what makes that work is that it is such a pretty and interesting and listenable piece of music...

I am beginning to catch on - &mdash 09/09/07 - 09:07:51 PM
to your musical fingerprint. This is 'PFP' all the way: clean without being stilted; thoughtful, but not melancholy; some classical touches with a bit of pop styling and a few jazz style harmonies. I definitely will download and have a cup of tea while listening to it.

How perfect &mdash 09/10/07 - 09:50:52 AM
This morning I've got the house to myself and am having a hot drink, then came to listen to your lovely playing. It is emotional, whimsical, fun, and serious all at the same time. I'm glad you have the piano so you don't blow up with all the feeling you have inside of your heart. My ears thank you, Paul. :-)

Wow, two in one day! &mdash 09/10/07 - 01:52:59 PM
Two masterpieces in one day; one from you Paul and one from Enrique Gil. Both fit marvelously with a glass of cream sherry in my easy chair beside a fireplace.

God bless,

Rick

Hi Paul &mdash 09/14/07 - 11:14:21 PM
Beautiful music, soothing and sweet. I love your music, is wonderful like always. By the way, which piano did you use for this one? Do you usually leave the output at zero level or higher? I always have some difficulty figuring out the right volume without causing clipping. Do you use the pianist or audience perspective? sounds like the pianis perspective to me.

Sublime! &mdash 09/19/07 - 12:56:12 AM
Wow Paul...what an excellent piece. It evokes a pensive, but not overly-serious mood. beautifully arranged and played. Bravo!

Be well!

Music, Photography Combination &mdash 03/29/08 - 12:00:15 PM
Thank you so much for sharing your talent and music.
I am grateful to have come upon them as I searched for music of quality to combine with my photography into a slideshow. The beauty and serenity of your compositions have, I believe, served a complimentary match. You may find the combined works at the following links: http://www.freewebs.com/lovellsimonsimaging/manitobaedge.htm , http://www.freewebs.com/lovellsimonsimaging/lsvideos.htm
