Description:
Taxim is middle eastern improv to warm up to song playing, it uses shiftatelli rythm, or eight with a drum and bass line for backup. Here I a have added tanpura, indian drone instrument. The improv are my flamenco tango falsettas, where falsettas are riffs.

thanks so much!!! These are really nice words, and I am so glad you liked this. It was meant as a journey, but a metaphysical one.

Thanks again mike,... &mdash 09/19/07 - 07:26:13 PM
made the drum loop myself, could do a little better, part is rushed, but it works out because I used a metronome, and sensed the speed up at the fifth beat while improvising.
