...if ever I heard one. What a wonderful prelude. The fun of the opening segues into some very interesting dissonant harmonies in your solo section that are very much in the grand organ style. You have developed this number much more extensively than other things I have heard from your pen and you definitely capture a big cathedral sound. The "hiccup" switching back to the opening theme is the only glitch and you might be able to repair it with a little care. Oh what fun you seem to be having here. Very joyous indeed and all of that in the midst of a medieval scoring of lots of open 5ths. I love it. More, maestro. Please.

I understand what everyone is saying here, in contrast to your rennaissance works from before, which made me think of Italy, this is in the Spirit of Bach himself, but your own stamp is on it. Really amazing, I see the muse of dark, rain clouded forests, and stone castles, really a great feel, makes me fell like reading novels!!! [ Reply to This ]

Wow, this is really quite gorgeous! Every time I think I know your style, you jump way way ahead with something completely new and wonderfully written! This has a very majestic and confident feel, and it sounds like something somebody is playing live on an organ... very baroque and beautiful. It evokes grandeur, and I kept looking upward. You have a great talent, sir! And a heart just as big!

To my ears creepy & eldritch (makes me think of flickery old black & white horror flicks), this is also celebratory, if I drop my cultural referencepoints. Strange how western music has transmogrified and reconfigured in the wake of the hollywood influence.
I did find the slight dissonance in the second section a grabber to my ear.

I liked following the piece as it seems to search or climb the mountain and trying to imagine the moment of submission or kneeling. Touching idea for me.

I will always maintain there's an art to working with loops and you have a wonderful feel for it here. I'm always attracted to the organ loops myself but I particularly enjoy the dissonances that pop up here and there...shadows passing over the mountain, perhaps? [ Reply to This ]

There's an entry from Lengold some 19 or so posts ago that states that while enjoying this tune he imagines a horse drawn gold carriage trotting through his lounge - imagine my surprise when I checked out my lounge after listening to this piece and found freshly dropped horse manure on the floor and flakes of gold leaf on the patio doors - I think people should be warned about this type of music which quite blatantly attracts horses with or without carriages. Fruityloops is a cool easy software .I used it
cos its enable me to apply soundfonts for sounds
like this pipe Organ to my Midi files I export
from my Sibelius software which I wrote my scores at
true this fruity loops is not pro ..but it works
for me ..thats what I had ..!

well just used Sibelius for writing the scores
and saved the scores as Midi file then import
it from fruityloop after applyin the pipeorgan
soundfonts for it with lil revrebs ..!

This is just incredible work! The photo is just right too. One gets a real feeling of being out there before the mountain and sensing God's majesty and then humbling oneself before His awesome glory. I grew up in a little stone church where they had a classical pipe organ and the acoustics were just like what you have here. This is fine work and I am so proud of you. Again, the range of your musical experience is phenomenal.

in my life ..maybe harmonium or just small
