Description:
This is a tune that is a diescription of life, where things seems to be going on swimmingly and then something happens that you have no control over, or seemingly so.
I'm on holiday so wanted to mix a chilled out piece but try to add real life into it. Hence the louder passes, as waves on my sea of calmness. The rest is just background sound.

way cool &mdash 09/13/07 - 09:04:07 AM
good idea, paul. the foreboding undertone and the randomly plunked keys are a fetching combo. very impressive rumbling roiling thunder which passes to reveal chirping birdies in sunshine. i'm SO glad no one was eaten in the sea. ;) enjoyed your creation. anne [ Reply to This ]
It was a virtual sea...... &mdash 09/13/07 - 01:58:00 PM
The sun was shining and the air was clear but, alas, I was at home instead of by the sea.
The trip was virtual. All the sounds I found seemed to be made for each other so I had to mix them. The birds were a bonus.
(No sharks were used in the making of this piece).
Take care.

one of my favorites of your recent pieces. love the gtr notes against that backdrop, sooo moody. i need this one for my car. [ Reply to This ]
Moody is about right!!!... &mdash 09/15/07 - 05:27:33 AM
I'm now, after one weeks holiday, chilled enough to have got rid of my 'work mindset' and can concentrate on what I love doing. Namely making music.
There will be more in this flavour coming up over the next few days or weeks, although I'm also working on a 'pre-Miroslav classical piece'. One that doesn't come from the great orchestra collection but from more diverse sources.
It sort of makes playing with sounds all the more worthwhile, from my point of view, when someone says they'd have this in their car.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Reinholt &mdash 09/14/07 - 11:58:14 PM
It sounds like an action/suspense thriller to me. (Oh no! what's going to happen? the suspense is killing me!)
Quite nice, Thank you. [ Reply to This ]
I'm glad you liked this tune... &mdash 09/15/07 - 05:34:14 AM
Hey Enrique.
I'm happy that you found suspense in this tune as well as mystery. There will be other installments in the same vein, as variations on this piece.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care.

Interesting &mdash 09/15/07 - 11:59:51 AM
Nice piece. Just me, but I think the background could be louder, or the guitar a little softer. I really like all the different background sounds you are mixing here. Thanks [ Reply to This ]
Mmmmmm.... &mdash 09/17/07 - 02:54:22 AM
Some interesting comments from you Bill.
I didn't like the guitar 'plucks' at all and would agree with you on that comment. Things could have beem mixed differently and I'll see what I can do as I finish another take of this mix.
