South American Girls

Description
This is a little ditty I did. It's kind of like I've been doing my own little "White Album" recently as far as mixing up the styles a bit.
I know it's a little short and simple and I could have done more with the solo, but I wanted to keep it nice and simple.
Hope you enjoy!
Regarding being simple. Clearly, when I use fewer tracks, I get better sound quality. That was also a key factor as to why it was kept in a simple form.

Lyrics
South American Girls

Once I met a girl from Ecuador
One look at her, you couldn't ignore
Then I met a girl from Bolivia
Eyes like marbles in the morning sun

These are the girls I love the most
Had a quite many, but I wouldn't boast
Tropical child of the Amazon
Dancing in the jungle from dusk to dawn

Next, I headed off for Paraguay
Took all night and most of the day
Met her outside a San Lorenzo bar
Drove me back home in her beat up car

These are the girls I love the most
Had a quite many, but I wouldn't boast
Tropical child of the Amazon
Dancing in the jungle from dust to dawn

Tropical Child!
Dude, you are WILD!

I wasn't expecting this cool tune. Love the guitar sound especially. Your vocals just keep getting better and better. The mix is really good coming out of my speakers.

Lyrics are really fun. Can't wait to hear the song about your European Girls!

Had this one........
I've had this won laying around for a while and really liked its simplicity. Only took a few hours to do, which was also quite appealing.
Check out the song desription if you want a more detailed explanation.

Jolly and catchy ..

I particularily like how (as is often the case in
your songs Dave) you manage to get all the instrumentation and voice to all flow as one .. so you quite easily forget to listen to what each 'voice' is doing ..well integrated, sewn together .. with no seems showing ..perhaps a consequence of how you write?

Funny lyrics and fine mix .. only quibble was the
lack of attention to the ending .. but I do that myself
too .. so who am I to complain? lol.

Kudos.

That was one of the best comments I have read. Very informative and useful. I must agree that sometimes I don't really end the songs very nicely.
Thanks a lot APB

Sorry for not replying
Hey GP, sorry for not replying earlier, it was probably during my 2 month long dark age. Neither DSL at work nor home.
I just think if someone took the time to listen and comment, one should send a reply.
So, here's my reply.

Thank You!

Solid
Nice sound on everything, and that Syd strumming is ace! Great job on the vox, too.
Consider this for the next LSP thing (could be an outtake from Here Come The Warm Jets).
Cheers,
