Emotional rollercoaster &mdash 09/18/07 - 09:56:57 AM
Up and down from pretty introspection to psychotic episode with barely a warning..........
Well done. [ Reply to This ]

Yeah I worried that the change was a bit too extreme, I was contemplating trying to dumb it down a bit so it's not such a dynamic change. Cheers mate, still keen for lyrics? [ Reply to This ]

clean &mdash 09/18/07 - 07:17:29 PM
Really great acoustic guitar tone. Man, Rueffy, your production just keeps getting better and better. The church organ is particularly well placed in the mix. Tasty use of DJ scratching, too. Wish there was a bit of high end in the bass, the low end is punchy, but if there was a bit more string bite it might hold more of a prominent place against the guitars and synth. Certainly shades of the band Filter in there as well. Good cut. [ Reply to This ]

Cheers Phil, I think I like the organs complimenting the guitars as well, I can see how that defanitly has that Filter edge, something they do alot. The DJ scratching is actually just me scraping the strings with the pick, a budget method but nether the less still does the job. Will keep in mind the comments about the bass, still trying to find that balance, it seems that when i fix one problem i forget about another area, I should really write out a checklist. is great playing and top level production. With good lyrics and vocals could be a killer track.

Right up my alley &mdash 11/09/07 - 09:48:42 PM
This is the kind of rock I'm into.
A few hints of hard rock mixed with some psychedelic influence gives it a modern prog rock feel.
This mix has a little too much treble for my young ears, but it does sound crisp.
I think you would enjoy my recent songs.
I'm going to check out some more of your tunes now.
