I interviewed the priest after service and he just keep on talking about Chimayo and the history of the scared dirt, google Chimayo and you'll get alot of info, thanks for stopping by and enjoying the loving energy I put into my music, just getting back home from a busy summer and having alot of catching up with my favs....you know I have an idea of a collab with you Announcer,and Bowman.......

The phrase you picked to highlight in this about the soil is a perfect compliment to the music. It does a perfect job of tying the spiritual feeling of the music to the spirit that is contained in the earth. thanks for your kind words and for having good taste in music. The scared dirt that this song influences in at the Santuario De Chimayo in Chimayo New Mexico, and since I can remember my family has been going there for different events. I put the scared dirt into my medicinal plants and they explode with love and when I perform healing ceremonies I use the scared dirt, if you would like to have some send me a note and I'll send you some for your personal use...the scared dirt not the medicinal herb.........

It has a meditative quality to the track and does evoke Native American images. I like all the sounds used esp the flute and singing bowls. Its a beautiful track to listen to.

am a "white" dude but when I was six we moved to Gallap New Mexico so My Dad could work as a nurse on the rez there . So we lived in section 8 housing on the rez and we had just moved from Minnesota where everyone was "white"...... I think people who happen to be "white" are more on the pink side : ) anyway . It was a culture shock to me cause I didn't know that there were other kinds of people yet . So I of course tried to make friends but was met with vast and not understood prejudice . Some of the kids finally explained to me that the "white" man had killed there ancestors and takin there holly land for themselves and the place we were living was what was left of that land ....but it made no sense to me why anyone would do that! As time passed more people came to realize the old man wasn't the white devil and with good reasoning from past issues with "whitey" the back stabbing jerks that some of our ancestors were . And began excepting our family and letting us play with there kids and treating us like the good neighbors we were . So I kinda grew up then and ate fry bread and mutton , and the smell of pinions toasting and fire roasted blue corn cakes and buffalo and sandstone and the smell of fresh sage brush and arroyos and pow wows and falling in love with a Navajo girl and being totally engulfed in the Navajo nation and then moving to Arizona after a year and then learning who Mexicans were . Ill never forget my experiences on the rez and hold a part of the native American culture with me in my soul . The spirit entered my body in New Mexico and showed me many paths and guided me through some ruff times ......this was before I even understood about spirit guides . The spiritualism I experienced there has shaped me in a way that I think most typical Americans don't understand .....Well just thought Id share my story with you Blue Sky ......... Great song by the way !
