Description:
The appearance of disease rate of the lung cancer has risen in Japan.
Though the smoking population decreases.
My acquaintance is three person disease.
One person died.
Two people are nonsmoker.
What is?
The lung cancer did not develop as for this in old times.
The number of patients increases though the number of smokers has decreased.
Perhaps, the cause is not a cigarette.
Air pollution with vehicle exhaust emission etc.
Change in constitution by dining habit.
Ah,,
I stopped smoking.
However,,
I think may smoke.
Because the lung cancer and smoking are unrelated.
The cigarette is delicious.
Satan's whisper.
The artwork is a poster of the cigarette of the sale in 1930.

Beautiful design.

Satan's whisper &mdash 09/19/07 - 09:13:32 AM
A very seductive song. Nicely done. "Satan's whisper" - the start of some interesting lyrics. I remember a song from the 1950s called "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke (That Cigarette)". We called them coffin nails or cancer sticks when I was growing up. My Dad died of lung cancer at age 64. He was a smoker all his life. He was also a machinist at The Hoist for 37 years. Lots of particulate matter there, too. [ Reply to This ]

Love the sound you get with your guitar, it's so mellow, yet it has drive and substance to it.
Keep up the good work, I love it.

I like how the guitar is so cool at first, and then starts to "live too fast", and finally tapers down as though the lungs are tired too soon.
Thanks

...I quit 16 years ago...
...and still want one...and sometimes have one...
..."Satan's whisper", indeed.

Yes.
So so.
The smoke of the cigarette remains soaking into our heart.
Nicotine and tar.

It doesn't seem so long ago... &mdash 09/20/07 - 06:55:50 AM
...that every bar and restaurant would have a blue cloud of smoke in it...Even subway cars would have smokers in them... When I first started working after grad school, I would come into my office to find filled ashtrays, and a couple of times, burn marks on the edge of my desk...
The breathing is better these days...
I also remember my grandfather quitting smoking in his seventies after being subjected to having tubes forced into his lungs. "If I had known it would come to this, I'd have done this a long time ago..." And unfortunately, by then it was too late...
I also worked for a while in a cancer support group center, but couldn't continue; too many of the people I worked with died...
It is probably true that air pollution contributes, and a change in diet away from fish and toward fats and red meats contributes, and I still think it's a good idea to stay away from cigarettes...
Because, Tadashi, you make wonderful music, and you seem to be a wonderful parent, and I would like you to be around a good long time...
This has a sultry, film noire feel to it. Touches of Bogart and Bacall. I always enjoy your guitar playing...

Thank you for your grandfather's story.
My grandfather loved cigarettes.
He did not fortunately become cancer.
He lived for 90 years or more.
Brains has grown senile at the end.
Which was a good end?
If man's life is not only the man's one.
The person who makes the effort to live is sincere.
I wish to express my gratitude for your listening and comment.

Ya, it &mdash 09/20/07 - 07:40:06 PM
has the detective type sound. Lots of interesting jazz sounds.
Sorry Rich had his father died. My mom died of smoking but it was before they knew much about it. So many innocent people died for sure. Thanks for posting the wonderful jazzy tune and making me go back in time a bit.

Thank you for your mama's story.
Mama is likely to have stopped smoking if it knew carcinogenesis.
The cigarette industry should have made a harmful fact public earlier.
Loss, and a lot of great lives.

Nice one Tadashi! I stopped smoking over 30 years ago, but still regret that I ever started. My mother died at 62 of emphasema, which was directly related to her heavy smoking habit. I'm with Ed here - I think it's a very good idea to stay away from cigarettes.
Beautiful music as always my friend.

You have such great focus on what you do musically. You are a true musician. Very professionally attitude.
Fab guitar. Cool tune and production.
Keeping focus, and doing what we love will keep us from the substitutes that is not so good for us;)
