Description:
This is probably the only version I will do of this song. It was all put together mid-August with the view to me adding to or making this into a full blown song but the motivation has gone and I might as well put this, the only mix, up for people to critique.

Here it is.

Good title. &mdash 09/20/07 - 10:59:06 AM
Like this in bits especially the second quarter where it brightens up with the synth strings. Psychology, in my opinion is bogus. Be cool.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Psychology is all in the mind anyway.

I'd love to know what instrument or MIDI instrument you used for the bass. I liked the groove... nice piano sounds.

Thanks for listening and commenting.

I don't know what instruments were used to create the loops. They were all on a free magazine disk some months ago.

good one &mdash 09/20/07 - 02:42:00 PM
some of those sounds are sick (meant as a compliment). i am always so impressed with what you do with loops, always very musical and emotional.

you know, I went to school for Psych and I work in that field (and still think much of it is crap). thanks for posting.

Thanks Michael.... &mdash 09/21/07 - 03:06:23 AM
I enjoyed working with these sounds but couldn't quite finish off the piece. I think that my attention just wandered off somewhere.

I must admit I enjoy the psychology of meaning, context and interpretation. I play around with what I say, do and write for reaction and my main written work (for the last year) has been on contextual analysis. It fascinates the socks off of me, but the trouble is that my feet get cold.

Take care.

Paul.

'Keys suck??' &mdash 10/23/07 - 12:20:51 AM
You don't really say too much here.

Do you mean they are a benefit, like gravity? Or do you mean in a less positive way such as not liking the keyboard playing too much?

What you actually do say in your comment is no help from the point of view of doing things better or why you noticed the keyboard playing more than anything else, if you did.

Drop me a note to give me more of a feel for what you didn't like and maybe I'll drop you a reply.

Thanks for listening and leaving your thought. I do value your input, especially to learn from.

Take care.

Paul.
