Hi Helen I'm really enjoying your stuff and find it refreshing. I read that you record the singing and guitar at the same time. I mean it's more comfortable doing this for most of us, but I think you should try it seperately just for production sake. Glad you have joined us here. Very nice singing voice, intriguing lyrics, and enjoyable music. I assume you are doing this in one take... if you record the guitar once, then sing on a separate track, you can start twiddling stuff, like move the guitar off to the side a little so it doesn't "sit on your voice", and you can boost the bass a little so its not so thin. Also, the volume needs to be boosted a little, but these are minor tweaks... good stuff!
