Description:
Just a simple song I put together when i was feeling depressed
Lyrics:
Fade to blackFade to black
When it comes to life
I don' have the knack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Fade to black
Fade to black
Don't want something dramatic
Don't want to have a heart attack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Well all I did was work and tell the truth
Didn't cause no trouble
Didn't have a miss spent youth
They said all you had to do was be good and try
Now I'm finding out too late that that's just a lie
Fade to black
Fade to black
When it comes to life
I don' have the knack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Fade to black
Fade to black
Don't want something dramatic
Don't want to have a heart attack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Everyday I try to give my best shot
Try to think it might get better
But I know it will not
Life it has become one big bore
Everyone says "give me more"
Fade to black
Fade to black
When it comes to life
I don' have the knack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Fade to black
Fade to black
Don't want something dramatic
Don't want to have a heart attack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Looking around at all the half empty cups
Got a bunch of downs but where are the ups?
I guess every life can't be equally blessed
Just wondering mine seems so messed
Fade to black
Fade to black
When it comes to life
I don' have the knack
I want to close my eyes and just
Fade to black
Fade to black
Fade to black
Don't want something dramatic
Don't want to have a heart attack
I just want to close my eyes and
Fade to black

glad you don't wanna have a heart attack. this is a really nice song, like the effected gtr part, really adds a cool feel to the track. i too write a lot of songs when I'm depressed.

I think everyone can relate to this song. Great lyrics, vocals and a mesmerising and very well played guitar. Also beautifully produced.

done. Excellent playing and vocal. I think it's easier to write when you're feeling down - I too can relate to these lyrics.
