Bulldog Chews Wasp

Description
The title of the mix comes from the effect of the way I've scrunched the singing up. The effect, to me, is of a bulldog chewing a wasp, bee or hornet.

Maybe I'm just crazy!?

The original mix was classed as 'chillout' by the instruments/tones used. It's over two years old. Maybe you can tell.

I've tarted the production up a little and given it 'space'. See/hear what you think.

No dogs were hurt in any way during the mangling of this tune.

Interesting blend of sounds; fun to listen to. Must be that new "jazzechno" stuff I've been hearing about. Great mix; seems like the right amount of effects.

Hey dynoMYSTIC.....
Glad you thought this was fun to listen to. That's what my aim was.

I don't know about Technojazz. I'll have to take a raincheck on that genre until I learn more.

Very cool..
Such interest in the way the myriad of sounds come and go with the unifying voca, pads, and beat to give continuity. Molto bene!
Thanks,
Doug

Hey Doug.....
Thanks for listening and leaving your comments. It's good to know a few people listen to my pieces. It makes everything worthwhile in producing the mixes in the first place.

Take care.

Paul.

I enjoy creating music using computers and 'synthesized' as opposed to 'real' instruments. I have no problem using samples/loops in my music. Everyone does this every time they work with a track. I don't fit in any box and thoroughly enjoy working ou... [see more]
