so nice to get my gailfix again... interesting flowing parts, and then the halting parts (which I began to really like as you incorporated them in.) A little unique, but overall quite nice.. much like its composer, I suspect. Good to hear another one from you, which means you had a little time away from family "excitement" to post... that's a good sign! Hope all is well,

This is a very nice piece. Something to help you appreciate another opportunity to try to get it right, another morning. At my age, any morning I open my eyes and can still get up is a wonderful morning. And the music reflects that experience. The smooth flow of the music is like the first opening of your eyes as the Sun is coming up. The halting parts are like trying to get out of bed. It seems to come in fits and starts, just me trying to make myself get up.

Due to one of the latest forums I read, (stop giving 10's) I guess that I am way too nice on my comments...I noticed your comment on there and I feel the same way about not being able to judge someone from a professional standpoint. I once mentioned in a forum that it's like when we were kids. I'd be up on the monkey bars going:
"Hey, look everybody! Lookit me on the monkey bars!"
Some people would mock me. Some would ignore me. Others would look. It's still the same. Just older with a different set of bars.
Personally...I think it's kind of nice when someone tells you "Hey...you're really something on those monkey bars!".
I try to do that as much as I can...

What's mine say....Dude! What's mine say? Sweet! That just came to mind for some reason. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece...big and open...patient...no sense of tightness or tensity...great reverb sound on the piano (reminds me of Windham Hill back when that pianist, whose name escapes me, used a similar tone, sound, and musical structure to produce fantastic works of art).
