Great inertia in here, well mixed (hard to mix stuff that sounds this busy and strong, you do well with this stuff!) The sound bytes were pretty good as additions... not sure if there needed to be an occasional theremin or B-movie bubbling test-tube sound or something to spice it up more, you know, let it out of its Cajun a little more :-) Overall, really good tune, even removing all sound bytes, this would stand on its own as very enjoyable. Great work you two!

Thanks man, I'm glad you like the mix here... truly it was an epic challenge for me, getting it right haha. Still, with guitar playing this good, mixing is it's own reward. I was really tempted to add more sound fx... thunderstorm, screaming birds, who knows what else... and more sound bites from the radio show. But really, there's already so much going on that it would have been overkill. I may yet make an overkill mix though :) I'm glad you found this enjoyable, thank you, Eduard!

Haha, yes, that's exactly what he is! That cracked me up. Vac just happens to be a buddy of mine, and I just happen to enjoy mixing his incredible guitar playing. The rumor is that he's actually going to buy a computer and begin recording with it... then, who knows? He might have a presence online and begin collaborating like mad. I think that would be awesome... but will it happen?

Three things...
...but first, a word from our sponsor... very solid performances and whatnot. Its obvious. What's not so obvious are subtleties I'd look for in a driving song like this one. You've smacked me in the face right form the beginning. By introducing the guitar without the drums (none during the first full measure) might build up to create impact transition from intro to the next measure. Then the drums kicking in full throttle when the panned guitars kick in. Its a one-two-three punch for effect!

The bridge is a really nice change-up, which has a good duration. Good use of the ride cymbal and snare. Rhythm guitars could possibly get more emphatic building up to a coda... then kick it to death with a false ending and the finale.

Now I'm smacking myself in the forehead, dough, why didn't I think of that? Yes, guitar without drums in the intro would be cool, especially as that riff really stands alone so well.

And a false ending... that's just a damn good idea in general. I need to remember to do that! Ok--with the emphatic guitars building to the coda, I do believe that's three things, and much appreciated things. I knew I could count on you for good suggestions!! Thanks, Alimar.
