Description
This is the sax version of Hectorious' song that he wrote for his wife, "Kisses For Charlene."

I originally ended up doing this as an EWI ditty as a placeholder while my primary alto sax was getting overhauled, but after doing this version, I'm actually not sure I like it more than what I did on the EWI.

Given that there's already a few versions of the song out there, I'm disabling the ratings for it and putting it up here just for your enjoyment. I hope you like it. :)

Hectorious, you are the man. Thank you for letting me play over your beautiful composition, and I'm sorry it took sooooo long to finish. It's been a joy to work on it, and I hope it meets your expectations. :)

No doubt one of my Fav
you're one of my very favorite MJ'rs... there is such heart and soul in your playing... you never fail to cut right to the heart... Who did the synth soloing on this?... that was also very very tasty...

Synth solo...
Oh, the synth solo was me on the Akai EWI (short for Electronic Wind Instrument).

Information can on it can be found here:

As in YellowJackets. Love your tasteful playing and great sound on your Alto and your ewi meanderings.

Always a pleasure to listen to.

This is awesome. Hector's smooth tune really wanted saxamophone, and this is really fine sax playin'. Excellent collaboration, guys.

deja vu
This is a sweet version as well. Now I'm havin a hard time deciding which is my fav. Did you do the doubling on the other version as well? That sounds great. You have the EAR, my friend, for finding the most melodic, memorable, and musilicious solos! I don't think that last adjective is a real one but I like it :-)

TWO in TWO days! keep em comin dude

pro
It's quite noticeable that we're dealing with some pro's here:)

Hectorious you never fail in delivering great grooves. This is no exception.

The soloing is absolutely top notch. I especially like that you at some places take that sax tone to the limits of where the tone almost bursts.

Well,
of course, I had to listen to a song with my name. I love it and I'm sure the other Charlene loved it, too.
Smiling. Thanks. :)

Great break
The break in this tune with the wee drum roll is neatalishus I also like the techno effects in the background. Top blow mon ami.
