Description:
Well, my 80s influences seem to be pretty obvious on many of my other tracks--and that's something I won't deny. But with this track, I hope some of my more contemporary influences show, too.
Lyrics:
Short poem by Char:So, this is where I find myself at last.
I'm not smart enough to know what was best.
I look around with eyes that still can't see.
I grope in the dark but miss your touch.
Are you there? I need you so much.

this song is entering on a new century... :)
Very good track!!! Like it a lot
I think you and o0o need to do more collabs together, I can't make him understand his voice is perfect for your laid-back Depeche Mode tracks. Very good! You two could make it in this business (my honest opinion!). Now I am putting too much pressure on it, still you know how good his voice is!
love,

Very angular and icy, like Superman's fortress of solitude. I really like that beat, and it just chugs along like a futuristic train. Nice work, EZ.

you are sooo good at this sort of thing. in the 80's this type of music was a guilty pleasure/dark secret for me (my punk rock friends would have made fun of me), but now i find myself listening to this type of thing and NEVER pulling out the old punk stuff. thais is a great track.

Ditto to Justbase.

Is that Phoebe floating above those Cyprus trees? If it is she looks kinda determined. Heroic wee tune. Instead of the eponymous fade out I'd have gone with a spoken line something like - 'You see those big pointy trees- well Phoebe likes to float above them'. Hey presto you have instant 'credibility' and a predicted number 18 in Lapland. Be lucky.

is a little 80's heavy, but I think the progression of the song comes to a more modern level of complexity.

...but think it's overridden by the layering and instrumentation you're using, along with the key changes...
...no...this is evolution of the genre. Very cool...
Nice!

I liked this one alot. The 80's and 90's are my main areas of like and influence and this track has both. Great track and would be supersonic with some vocals over it. Thnaks for highlighting this one in the chat box.
