Description:
A little diddy.

Lyrics:
On the highest skyscrapers
Live swampy alligators
Bathing in the sun
Staring at the busy streets

All the businessmen
Never go up to the rooftops
Smoking in the lifts
Sitting staring at the door

Rolling up their sleeves
Sucking on their thumbs

Little nutria rats
Jump off the sides of the rooftops
Never followed
Splashed water to the ground below

Up on the highest skyscrapers
Live swampy alligators
Basking in the sun
Glaring at the busy streets

Watching the people
Watching the people

a little dizzy ditty &mdash 09/26/07 - 03:34:25 PM
it is unusual. it is dreamy. a hint of beauty in the harmonies. the lyrics are abstruse and alluring. it is difficult to follow the singing. the singer should move closer to the microphone. it is a good experiment. 0x0

i think this could use some production tweaks to bring the sounds to life and make everything pull into focus.

but as it stands, this has a dreamy wonderfulness to it. the lyrics are poetic without being trite or painful, and the overall effect puts me into a space about 4 or 5 stories up, watching wet busy streets through my window.
good shit, man.
