Your voice has a clarity and sincerity I don't hear in other Hip Hop singers. Very refreshing.

Thanks
Bill

But its nice to hear. I really have a lot of fun writing and rhyming. Especially since I got the new mic I've been inspired to do a such. I just need to convince my wife to get on.

Tight &mdash 09/30/07 - 09:47:13 AM
Yeah, your voice on this has real power; peacepiano is right.
I heard the message in the last version ("a small group of holy masons": excellent), but what I like most about this is the flaunting of the comped vocal sections with no attempt whatsoever to hide the fact that these are cut up audio files. Makes a virtue out of an essential feature of sequencers, and one that most people try to hide.

what can I say &mdash 09/30/07 - 01:03:04 PM
I like raw music. Most of what I make is so electronic that a little humaness puts a good balance in. Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you sir &mdash 09/30/07 - 07:13:51 PM
I would like to believe my voice is that good, but my main intention is to see how others would percieve the message minus the music.

This is impressive! &mdash 10/04/07 - 03:37:34 PM
Like Steve sez, I would never have thought rap would work as acapella. Sometimes it's great to be proven wrong... this is absolutely rivetting. I remember once, a teacher saying that nothing is more important to the human creature than the sound of another human voice. And I'd have to agree, by this. This demands to be listened to. The voice alone propels the message into our attention in a way that bypasses everything else.

I'm listening.

ok &mdash 10/06/07 - 06:03:26 AM
I think at times we use our music to hide what we lack in our normal voice. We even do things to our vocals (reverb, etc.) to "enhance" it ( another word for hide it's deficiencies). I think in the rap category there is less to hide since, for the most part, we don't rely on our melody, but on the rhythm.

Of course it's all dependent on the artist and the song.

Thank you for the kind words sir.

michael2's take on this and wanted to add my nod to this. Very cool - great words and excellent intrinsic rhythm. Nicely done. Peace.
