Description:
I've always wanted to write a Christmas Song - so here it is. I realise it's a bit early but I had to post it.
Maybe I'll post it again at Christmas time.
For my American friends for 'Sweets' read 'Candy' and for 'Buscuits' read 'Cookies'.

Very cool funky X-Mas groove. Not at all what I was expecting afetr the toy piano intro. Gut wrenching sub bass, trippy phased lead axe, and syncopated drums, all very cool.

Too true in most cases. I like the guitar washes and mad effects in the track it really adds a nice touch. This is probably one of the best Christmas tunes I have ever heard esp since it is closer to real life then most. Well done Len. [ Reply to This ]

Rather short comment. I just love your voice, it reminds me of the cherished tho depressing eighties (Cave, Joy Division, Swans). And the cynicism in the song is nice:-). what a marvelous segue from the delicate start to the hard hitting section. i like how quickly you sang "that's christmas." this made me smile repeatedly, but it's also a kinkily good piece of sound, too. " asleep in the chair ETC.," ah, you've captured it well. quite an interesting vocal delivery with just the right sense of drama. clever ending. bravo, len!

and I just love that bass...that lyric and that voice...and a superb beat that guides you...personally I am not so fond of the 'sharp' guitar sound in the beginning...I think it is too loud in the mix....but that is nitpicking...you created an adorable tune!
