Well kinda a down tempo Toast song just been a little depressed lately and doin alot of thinking and reflecting and this came out I guess its a love song of sorts but more of an observation really ....kida one moment in time .....

Hey man this is a song about a relationship that happened like 2 years ago but it was one that really helped me to see that words are only words and can be used as tools to get what you want and not all people are real ...funny thing is part of me is still not over it its hard to explain but I guess some things effect you like that to help on the path who knows this life has been strange trip thats for sure ! Hey peter ! It is and as I mature i find it even harder to let go with no attachments and just let the feelings fade with time without hate and anger . Breaking up always hurts but knowing that the other person is doing good always eases the hurt for me , be well man .

Hey dude glad to see you decided to stick around man your definitely appreciated around here man ! You probably dig my style cuz im makin real music and not industry pond scum and cow dung ! The main stream have mixed the terms hiphop and rap so tight that you cant tell the difference any more . Im rappin with fresh content while keepin that roots grounded in music feel instead of makin up some persona im actually looking deep into hiphop and what its really about and making that my focus . I make music from my heart with no expectations and no thought of monetary gain so really I make it for myself . As hiphop started out as ....true street music and just because im not a thug doesnt make it any less creditable . I grew up in shitty hoods with fucked up friends but I always kept my head strong and followed no man . Glad you enjoyed man and its nice to have ya back !

I love listening to your tracks, even though this track has an inward, sad meaning you still have a good sense of humour. It makes your lyrics very interesting. The music is very nice and mellow, and I like all the elements that make up this track. Great beat, lovely piano hook and nice string sound/arrangement.
I feel your pain, the lyrics are very good and full of meaning. Top marks.

...and a poet you're in a place all your own here, my friend. Your ability to paint pictures and tell stories - powered by deft, minimalist musical washes - just keeps getting better all the time.

"I hope the wind blows softly as you head into the skies"... there's something very poignant about that line. Too often, the end of a relationship serves as the trigger for a musical gunshot of 'f*** you right back' retaliation. Yeah, there's a time for that too, but more often than not it just poisons our own spirits with meaningless hate. Your response here is startlingly and genuinely healing, and steeped in the wisdom of hard-won experience. Sometimes "birdies need to fly" and no matter the hurt to us, that fact doesn't change. Love can make us strong or tear us apart - hell, sometimes it even does both! In the end, it's up to us to decide whether the wound will make us stronger and wiser, or weaker and bitter. That sounds trite, but it's real. Life is one hell of a long road.

you make me think and thats why were =friends ....Im an unusual male as I where my heart on my sleeve and say what i feel with no inhibition even if it means steppin on my own foot . this is an old wound that keeps surfacing for me and i dont know how to shake it ...the relationship ended with her and I spliting because we move and not over relationship problems she wanted to go to the burg and i wanted to go back to phoenix and so it was like one last great night of everything and off she went .....it shattered me and i didnt know how to let go ...i still tried to keep it a relationship but lost my mind when I found out she was dating another guy like a month latter , paced my appt and smoked cigs till 6 am then passed out with a bottle of wine in my mouth and called off the next day . I still love her and its really the the thought of her and her presence that I miss .She was a great human being and Ill never forget her she was there when i needed her and then taught me life lessons ill never forget on how to let go . I dont talk to her any more but find my mind wondering into foggy memories of all emotions ......rik your a cool dude ! Thanx for expressing yourself and thanx for making me think and reflect its the greatest gift any human can give to another !
