Description:
Well this is a total experiment using Craft and Leco vocals from their track 'Sem Preco'. I hope that it is appreciated that this remix is trying to be a bit different from the norm of hip hop. However I am still worried that it might not go down too well.
(Added on the 27/10/07: There is now a remastered version of this track, which is slightly louder and the vocals are more clearer, if you are interested in it, then send me a note with your e-mail address and I will send it to you)

trippy instrumental... A mix between industrial and dub... I like it. I different approach to my song... I love it but you need to put the vocals louder in the mix...
Diviner
You are right, I do tend to let the music overpower the lyrics. Esp since the lyrics are the main focus in hip hop, I will need to review my production skills. However thanks for the comment and I am so glad and relieved that you like the track. I hope it was worth all the hassle of the vocal saga. Thanks for letting me remix your track. It was a real challenge.
to the final moments of a mining facility on another world.....
Great metallic sounds and crunchy vibe.
Diviner
That a vivid imagination you have, but I can see where you are coming from. Thanks for the intreging comment and thanks for popping by and listening.
Dj French Toast
yeah this is frickin sweet dude ! love the acid head mushroom world youve created here ...fits perfect with the two emcees spit .....lovin it !
Diviner
You would not believe the amount of stressin' I did over this track. The vocals are a challenge, so it took a while to think what to do. Then when I had decided what to do I had to make it work. It looks like by your comment it was all worth it. Cheers for visiting and thanks very much for the encouraging comment. Its good to see you French Toast.
lengold
sounds pretty unique to me Keith. Carving your own niche. Excellent.
Cheers

I glad you have said it unique, I wanted Craft/Leco's lyrics to sit on something different. All the Craft tracks are really good and there are some really good remixes done by other people. I am glad you like it, I can imagine a dub/reggae man like yourself would appreciate this mix.
Thanks for listening and commenting Len.
dabster
Really great work with vocal... And it's true what is lengold said... it is unique.
Diviner
Aah thank you dabster, good to hear from you. I have been keeping an eye on the tracks you have been submitting as well. Thank you for the comment its really good of you to listen to my new tune. I have been trying hard with this track and I'm glad you think I have pull it off.

and i love that buzzy raspy synthy thingo...nice effect on craft too.......all in all i loved it!
Diviner
Glad you love it, all the elements took a while to bring together. It was quite a stressful track, but it was worth it. Ours is next. :-)
Thanks for listening and commenting.
Minimalistic - perfect
Diviner
Its good to see you again. I'm glad you are liking the stuff I create. Yes, I like dub because of the minimalism. Thanks for coming round, listening and commenting.
I agree with craft...TRIPPY! This really messed with my head! Trip-hop, eh? You may be on to something here. Personally, I think the production is pretty decent. Kudos!
Be well!
Diviner
Good to see you here, thank you for listening to my track and commenting. It means a lot to see talented people like yourself like the tracks I create. Cheers for popping by.
While it's not my preferred genre I occasionally really enjoy hearing a nicely done Trip-hop tune man. And this one is pretty excellent!
Talent is talent irrespective of the genre!
Again, well done!
Im telling ya! Nicely done son! Luv the low end, really reminded me of Milanese, UK Dubstep hipster.

Its great to see you. Thanks for listening and commenting. Dubstep is a big thing in UK at mo, although I have not listened to very much of it. I was inspired by 'Dub Trees', a UK psychedelic trance dub group, check em out. Glad you are diggin' this.
P.s. Judging by my e-mail alerts you have a couple of tracks I have to listen to.
spitlogic
This is nice. On the headphones the panning is very trippy. That snare hit is awesome. Nice remix.
Diviner
Cheers for listening and commenting, good to see you. I tried as much as possible to have all the sounds and vocals sounding as trippy as possible, and yes on the headphones this track (I'm happy to say) sounds trippy with all the panning. I really was not too sure how this track would be received, but all these responses are really positive. Cheers for popping by.

I had this feeling before! I like the edge of chaos, here. It holds perfectly!

Between you and craft, you've converted me to mashy Portuguese dub hop, or something like that. Man, you guys are really crazy inventive, unlike most of what I've heard in the genre. Great sound, guys! I'm so impressed!
This will be played full blast on my iPod!

Thank you for such an enthusiastic response. Glad you like it. As I've said in the description, I really don't know how people are going to respond as it is a bit different to what most macjammers have done on this site. Having said that there are some amazing and talented people on this ite producing some great stuff. Thanks again for listening and commenting.
Schello
Ufff..you are so MARVELOUS...uff..i hate you LOLO...FANTASIC, my friend!
Diviner
Thank you for listening and commenting. I'm proud of what I have done however I don't know about marvellous, but thank you anyway (blush). Glad you enjoyed it.
industrial rap! Very cool track! I agree with Craft that the VOX need to be a touch louder, though. (something I've been guilty of too, haha!)
Diviner
The vox might need to be louder, however some of the vocals are suppose to be fading in and out (the chorus). I have made the vocals louder and sent it to Craft, if you would like the remaster then give me your e-mail address and I will send it to you.
Thank you for listening and commenting. Glad you liked the track.
I know I hit the fav button when I listened to this. Not sure what had happened. I sent you a note with my email address. Looking forward to hearing the remix!

Cool start: liquid sounds and dry beat: very smart and very well mixed.
The vocals perfectly match with the distorted pad in the background. I can't understand the words but that don't matter: the point is the tripping athmosphere... What drive me crazy about this track is the perfect mix with all the sounds. Very balanced. Very good.
Diviner
You have really pleased me with your comments, they are very encouraging. Thank you for listening, I'm glad you liked the track. It means alot. Grazie.

this one woke me up! everything works! very cool indeed.
Diviner
Good to hear that it woke you up, sorry if it surprised you too much.
Thank you for listening and commenting. I'm glad you like it and it works for you. :-)
Roped me in with your zaniness from the get-go. "The heavy, heavy mushroom mash mix" -- what a cool subtitle.
I can't understand the words. The rapper is in the next weightlifting room at the alternative health club.
Interesting experiment. I'll buy more rounds of this.
Diviner
Good, I'm glad the title caught your eye. The title is suppose to reflect the track, which I think it does. There is lots of trippiness in the track and its heavy with the industrial dub. Glad you like the track and thanks for popping by and commenting. Its good to see you. I look forward to hear your rock opera in full.
perceptualvortex
Liquidy, bubbling, molten rock rap. Craft and Leco have cool vocals here, and it's interesting to hear them over a melted beat, and metallic grinding atmosphere. Cool mix, Diviner!
Diviner
or is that just me? Seriously though the track is quite an intense trippy ride. I tried to to keep the track as dubby as possible while still having a new twist. I think the lyrics are brilliant and I did not want to disappoint Craft.
I am glad you like it, thanks for popping by and commenting. Hope to see you again.

Excellento!

I have done a remastered version of this track. Just give me your e-mail address, and I'll send it to you.
Doug Somers
of the vocals with a musical backing that 'expands your head'. This is cool, fresh and buzzingly fun to listen to.
Thanks!!
Doug
Diviner
Glad to hear you found it fun, it was fun to do, only after I realised what I was going to do with the vocal. I strssed before hand. Never mind it worked for the best.
Thanks for listening and commenting, its good to see you.
