Description
An acoustic/ambient song based on the premise of feeling disconnected from an environment of materialism, which tends to neglect pieces of itself(people) that don't facilitate the images or ends it pursues. As a "Band-Aid" society, we tend to look for quick, superficial ways of fixing deeply-rooted societal issues (ie. addiction, poverty, homelessness)...

Lyrics
this garden aint my home
aint picking up the phone
I'll stand for miles away
aint coming back to stay
woke up between the songs
been sleeping for so long
narcotic, seamless sheets
hiding me in a dream
plant over
weeds and growing unadorned
plant over
money healing cuts too deep
pull over
dirt that crumbles, hands are sore
roll over
burried in our endless sleep
I walk a TV street
glowing too bright to see
the channels won't turn back
onto the life I've had
repeat chorus.
aint picking up the phone
I'll stand for miles away
aint coming back to stay
woke up between the songs
been sleeping for so long
narcotic, seamless sheets
hiding me in a dream
plant over
weeds and growing unadorned

money healing cuts too deep

I walk a TV street
glowing too bright to see

Man this is a great song, the recording really clear and the mixing in the 1st class. Loved your vocal so much and the music composition with the background is very very fine ! Very great song to start your work here at MJ. Welcome to MacJams and looking forward to hear more !
