Fan List
Description:
Using GB's "Funkmaster" Drum loop to drive the rhythm, "Jazzid" is my first attempt at a song in GB, naturally loops only at this stage. Inspired by the Label/Sound of Acid Jazz, hence "Jazzid".

Is it all strictly GB loops, or are you playing and
creating your own loops? I'd like a little more
background before voting. I don't mind the repetition
since you break up your loops before they become
overdone and too repetitive. One suggestion: Fade
the end rather than end it ubruptly. HOW TO: Go to
your Garageband menu click on TRACK, select
MASTER TRACK, go to your file, select MASTER
VOLUME and add a fade to the end of your file.

HI!

It is indeed a GB loops-only track, I haven't explored playing the software
instruments as of yet. Regarding the abrupt ending, this seems to be an issue
with the mixdown that GB performs to export to iTunes. It seems to be
cutting off the piano fade which does indeed exist in my track, even if I make
the timeline longer to compensate. If anybody knows how to fix this it'll be a
great help :-)

Hi!,

Yes they're all GB's own loops, it's a loops-only track. I
only really discovered a means of playing the software
instruments without a hardware keyboard just the other
day using midikeys (http://www.manyetas.com/creed/
midikeys_beta.html)

Regarding the abrupt ending, this seems to be an issue
with the GB export to iTunes mp3. My track does let the
piano just fade out nicely but the GB mixdown just seems
to cut it off, even if I make the track duration longer. If
anybody knows of way to fix this it'll be a big help.
