Autumn Chorale &mdash 10/19/07 - 08:18:50 PM
So sweetly start with open theme ..elegantly the flute
draw the picture of the reddish leaves as the oboe
took the place to let more thicker tone and on and on
till you foudn this piece all minor then the flute
turn it back ..just another autumn gem my friend !! [ Reply to This ]
Very peaceful &mdash 10/19/07 - 08:37:50 PM
and very pretty. It makes me feel like waltzing as the leaves drift down.:-) [ Reply to This ]
As much processional as chorale... &mdash 10/19/07 - 09:21:44 PM
...and in keeping with the turning of the seasons...a sense of forward motion and at the same time a sense of circularity...a sense of things leaving and things returning...Things being revisited, reconsidered, re-heard...

MR. Paul, very impressive work here, the piano is beautifully played and the flute is gently entered and add to the music something special ! Thanks for sharing such perfect work. Loved it ! The Autumn is coming.

This is a beautiful piece... so regal and calming; the flute and Cor Anglais(?) add that wonderful feeling of peace; a lovely combination of instruments, regards M [ Reply to This ]

this is quite lovely -- I'm in Louisville, Ky at the moment -- and this is quite appropriate. Thanks !! [ Reply to This ]
Timeless &mdash 10/20/07 - 08:32:26 AM
Paul, I could listen to your music all day long. In fact, I often do, as I have built quite a nice library of your compositions. Very lovely, very peaceful.
God bless,
Rick

A tour de force of arrangement &mdash 10/20/07 - 09:57:05 AM
and composition. Paul - this is a really stellar piece of work. I especially like how you handled the harmonies when you dropped to a lower register midway through - rich and daring. Very impressive and a joy to listen to. I'd like to find a song to collaborate on - if you're game. [ Reply to This ]

Melody &mdash 10/20/07 - 07:46:49 PM
Your melody moves smoothly from instrument to instrument, each complemented by well chosen harmonies. The well written orchestration is a joy to listen to.
Thanks

Very nice indeed.
I love the fairground organ effect (even it wasn't meant) .

Window of tree leakage day. &mdash 10/24/07 - 08:03:59 AM
Beautifully arranged as &mdash 11/04/07 - 10:04:56 PM
the melodic lines are passed around the orchestra. Faint sadness and expectation in a flowing expression of life. Lovely!
Thanks,
